Talented Friends

It's been a busy few weeks and I have a lot of photos to post here in the next couple of days, but I wanted to pause and post about my friend, Cathy Solarana. She is a very good friend and a very talented designer who recently decided to go into business for herself. We have her to thank for our awesome website. She has an amazing ability to visually communicate exactly who her clients are. Cathy has an intense desire to understand her clients and to beautifully showcase their brands. Joe & Amy's Wedding

On Saturday, we photographed Joe and Amy's wedding in Lincoln. As you'll see in the photos, they had a relaxing start at Amy's parents' house while her and her sisters got ready. The rest of the afternoon remained much the same - very calm and stress-free. But when the giant limo showed up, it was time to party!

Tara and Corey

I'm so excited to share a recent engagement session. Tara and I grew up across the street from each other in Lincoln and now she's all grown up and getting married! It was so fun to reunite with Tara and get to know her fiance Corey - these two are great together. We can't wait for their wedding in July.

Greg & Ashley

We had the pleasure of photographing Greg and Ashley's wedding on May 23. It was a beautiful outdoor wedding at the pond in Skyline Ranches, and we couldn't have had better weather. We're still working on the photos, but here are a few of our favorites so far. The young men holding Ashley in the photo below are her 5 brothers - they were her bridesmen. That's right, no bridesmaids at this wedding (a first for us) but these guys were great!

Rachael turns 15!

We spent May 16 celebrating Rachael's 15th birthday. She was a beautiful Quinceanera and it was so fun to spend the day with her family and friends - as she celebrated her entrance into womanhood.

Brian & Sarah

Here's a quick snapshot of Brian and Sarah's wedding, which took place last Friday. As you'll see, their wedding day included 7 nieces and nephews! These little guys were troopers and partied well into the night.

The overall feel of the day was very warm and familial - Sarah is one of four girls and Brian is one of three kids. This is a large, tight-knit family who was very excited for the bride and groom to exchange vows. It was a calm day - full of of love and support.

And when the reception started, it was time to celebrate!

Goin' to the Chapel

We are photographing our first event of the 2009 wedding season tomorrow! We spent some time with Brian and Sarah at their rehearsal dinner at Lo Sole Mio...it was delish! These two are getting married after 9 years together - and they are so excited for their wedding day to finally be here.
