Brett and Dani's E-Session

Brett and Dani are getting married this fall and we cannot wait for the wedding! These two are young, energetic and totally in love. This is another high school sweetheart couple...in fact their first date was Taco Bell and a movie. We had a beautifully overcast evening for this shoot, and Dani was all smiles. Aren't these two cute?!

John and Lindsey E-session

John and Lindsey are getting married in September and last weekend, I traveled to Lindsey's parents' farm to photograph their engagement session. They are an adorable small town couple, high school sweethearts in fact, and it was such a special place to shoot. Lindsey grew up in this house and John and Lindsey went to school just down the road. The evening went so smoothly because they were at ease on the farm. Lindsey talked about running barefoot all over the yard with her younger brother growing up. I heard a few tales about their family and friends - enough to make me very excited to celebrate with them at their wedding this fall.

Catching Up!

I'm behind on blogging - but for good reason: wedding season is underway!

Before we get started posting our beautiful June brides, I wanted to share a few fun things from earlier this month.

Amanda and Nick are getting married over 4th of July weekend, but they live in Wichita. So we had to find a weekend to squeeze in their engagement session while they were in Omaha. A few weeks ago, we were able to photograph them on a perfectly cloudy day - you couldn't ask for better light.

And I recently had the pleasure of spending an hour with 2-year-old Ella, who is constantly on the move. Her mom told me she was having an 'off' day and wasn't quite acting like herself. She wasn't too smiley, but I didn't mind. Her amazing blond curls and curious nature was enough for me. We had a great time exploring the duck pond in Papillion.

Kim and Brandon's E-Session

Kim and Brandon are getting married in August and we recently photographed their engagement session in Louisville on the family farm. The old buildings were such a great backdrop, but surprisingly, there weren't any old farm equipment or abandoned cars for them to climb on. Regardless, I love how these turned out.

Mike and Tracey's E-Session

We beat the summer weather with Mike and Tracey's engagement shoot at Gifford Farms in Bellevue before this heat wave came through. Mike helped us find this awesome forested area, and the lighting was beautiful that day! These two are perfect for each other - they love the outdoors and seem to be up for any adventure. We're excited to see what they have up their sleeves for the wedding day...

Tara and Corey

I'm so excited to share a recent engagement session. Tara and I grew up across the street from each other in Lincoln and now she's all grown up and getting married! It was so fun to reunite with Tara and get to know her fiance Corey - these two are great together. We can't wait for their wedding in July.

Rachel and Eric E-session

Rachel and Eric are getting married in Omaha on June 12 and we had the pleasure of spending some time with them on their engagement shoot. They currently reside in Texas, so a nice warm spring photo shoot here in Omaha isn't an option.

While they were home for the holidays, we decided to head to the Durham Museum to capture some shots of these lovebirds. We had a great time exploring the history of the museum and even climbed aboard a trolley car!

Ashley & Greg E-Session

Skyline Ranches in Elkhorn was the location of our engagement shoot last Sunday. It was a gorgeous day and Ashley looked beautiful. These two were awesome - very comfortable in front of the camera. They are planning an outdoor wedding in the spring, in the very same spot. We can't wait!
