Sophie the Birthday Girl

We've been capturing Sophie's budding personality monthly for the last six months and we completed the series last weekend with her 1-year photo shoot. It has been so fun to watch her grow! We also made time to get some fun family shots while we were playing outside.

Mr. and Mrs. Lechner

Jay was an usher in a wedding we photographed two years ago and we're honored he and his new bride, Katie, chose us to capture their wedding. It was a spectacular day from beginning to end. These two met by chance on a spring break trip several years ago and are still head over heels for each other.

We got to spend the day downtown - right across the street from the State Capitol Building - for the ceremony at St. Mary's. Then we had some fun with the wedding party on UNL's campus, on the steps of the Sheldon Art Museum. Finally, we partied the night away at the Champions Club. We are so happy for this new couple! Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Lechner!

Matt and Jackie

It was a pleasure to start our 2011 wedding season with Matt and Jackie last Saturday. We really couldn't have asked for more - a beautiful bride, a handsome groom, an adventurous wedding party and a very loving family (and the craziest bustle I've ever seen). Congrats to the newlyweds!

Brett and Dani's E-Session

Brett and Dani are getting married this fall and we cannot wait for the wedding! These two are young, energetic and totally in love. This is another high school sweetheart couple...in fact their first date was Taco Bell and a movie. We had a beautifully overcast evening for this shoot, and Dani was all smiles. Aren't these two cute?!

Jack Turns One!

It wasn't long ago that we captured the stunning wedding of Corey and Tara, and now we have something new to celebrate with them...their little boy turned one this week! I tried to select just a few to post, but it was too hard to narrow it down - so here are 10 from his birthday photo shoot:).

Summer Mini Sessions

We are excited to announce Summer Mini Sessions! If you’ve been meaning to get an updated family portrait, but haven’t gotten around to it – now is your chance. A mini session is a 20-minute photo shoot – quick and painless...the kids won’t even know what hit them. And perhaps the best part is the reduced rate: $150 for the session and the high resolution images on disk (with copyright release for you to print the images as you wish).

The first date is Saturday, June 4. Email us now if you’re interested in booking a mini session - we anticipate they will fill up fast! We have openings in the morning, late afternoon and evening.

John and Lindsey E-session

John and Lindsey are getting married in September and last weekend, I traveled to Lindsey's parents' farm to photograph their engagement session. They are an adorable small town couple, high school sweethearts in fact, and it was such a special place to shoot. Lindsey grew up in this house and John and Lindsey went to school just down the road. The evening went so smoothly because they were at ease on the farm. Lindsey talked about running barefoot all over the yard with her younger brother growing up. I heard a few tales about their family and friends - enough to make me very excited to celebrate with them at their wedding this fall.
